Mo’ Native… And mo’ backs

The new altered kit Mo Native has just gone into store. As always it’s 20% off for the first two days (back to regular price on Wednesday).

I’ve gone with full size background/papers this time, you get 16 in all. This really was inspired by Tangie Baxter’s Art Journal Caravan. I know a lot of you, like me, have signed up to do this fab project, and will be needing bigger scale backgrounds for your journal pages. You can still chop the papers up for ATCs though, of course

Also in store tonight are three new background bundles. Again, I’ve gone for journal page size (US Letter, but they are easily resized to A4 without losing any quality), but I have bundled in ATC size versions as well, so you get both. You can overlay them, blend them, mix and match them, clip them to paper… Endless possibilities!

These are all 20% off until Wednesday as well, or you could buy the bundle with all three packs in it and save a little more (The bundle isn’t discounted, but it’s still cheaper than buying the three individual packs separately).

Shine on Harvest Moon…

Yes, it’s yet another Fall kit. I haven’t done a Fall kit before (not least because we call it Autumn here in the old world), and I wanted to acknowledge the bounty of the season and how thankful we are (or should be) for it, but without locking into Thanksgiving as a theme (again, we don’t have that holiday here). I also didn’t want to do a Hallowe’en kit right now. So I decided to use the colours of my almost-finished tomato plant (the only one that survived this year) and it’s fruit to make a kit that is great for Harvest Festival pics as well as general Fall/Autumn and seasonal gardening topics as well.

In store at DSB tonight, and it’s even included in the sale – 40% off (until the Boss decides to put the prices back up to regular again, so be quick if you want it at this great discount).

I’m Famous! And a Free Kit…

I am famous. Seriously. Well slightly anyway. I’m the Featured Designer in the new issue of The Daily Scrapper, did a really fun interview with Claus-Dieter a week or two back, and it’s kind of weird to see what I said in black and white, but there it is Check it out if you have a minute (or five, I like to talk…).

Boys Own 2009

Developed from my old Boys Own kit with loads of new pieces added, this is the perfect kit for scrapping boys of all ages. Full of the stuff boys like and in great colours of blue, orange and beige to work with any kind of outdoors photos, beach snaps, nautical adventures or simply the art of being a boy.

Bloomsbury W2

Developed from my old Bloomsbury and Pillowtalk minikits with a bunch of new stuff thrown in, this Edwardian style scrap kit offers soft colours, gentle textures and a vintage style that’s still clean and simple.

4Today

Soft and whimsical in unisex colours (blue, pink, green and stone), 4Today is a classic birthday kit for kids. With subtle textures and a doodled feel, this works so well for paper piecing style layouts.

Recipe Book by Ruby Rynne

My latest kit Recipe Book will be available from September 25th. It’s inspired by the scene sequence cutaways from the Jamie Oliver cookery show ‘Jamie At Home’ which is right up my street as I continue to find a way to incorporate Commonplace Book-keeping into my repertiore. Whilst it’s clearly perfect for making recipe books (for one of those ubiquitous digi-site swaps maybe), it works for so many more topics, and can be combined with other Commonplace type kits to make journal pages and all kinds of altered projects. I hope you like it!

Alter Native ATC Kit Arrives!

You know how I love ATCs (Artist Trading Cards)? I do love them, and I so love altered art in general, it’s my natural ‘home’ in papercrafts. Reckon that means I’m an Alter Native.

I’ve put together a kit of ATC stuff for you to play with, combine with your own ideas and creations, and make your own unique art. All the elements are suitably sized for ATCs and altered art projects (especially journals) and also make fantastic, unusual and unique scrapbooking embellishments. And you can get it at DSB right now (25% off this week only too).

The finished ATCs are not included, but if you make an ATC of your own, we can swap
